Have caught literally thousands of dhueys and never got one from the shore. The closest was on the tip of Cape Naturaliste, twice had one come up with a wave and what the wave brings up the wave takes back, both were good fish around 8 - 10kg and was one cast after the other.
Well done mate, you can't beat the sight of a landbased dhuie in the torchlight. I gotta ask was it south or north and what bait? Off the beach is a level up than off the rocks!
