One of the breeding pair of Sea Eagles in Leeman, the breeding season for 09 had 3 chicks and quite fat and very noisy.
Joked to old fart that the Sea eagles catch looked like a dhuie tail. As a lot of fisherpeople coming in said that they saw some floaters out about 5 miles.
fantastic to watch him/her catch a feed also. During January took some really nice photos of them and a chick from the Green Head breeding pair. The one I watched in Leeman, hovered over the fish, then dropped like a stone and actually went into the water and picked the fish up (instead of skipping across then grabbing the fish), quite a big silver flash I saw, then about 20 feet in the air, one mighty shake to get all the sea water off and off he/she went to feed the 3 chicks. I love all raptor birds.

The parent sure enjoyed eating his/her catch.
