The first Marlin we ever caught, which was the same day that we hooked our first Sailfish. Man did the marlin give us grief..those things fight. we actually dropped the leader at the side of the boat, and letting him go, which he rudely swam under the boat at a great rate of knots... the rod got dunked and the lttle black (i captured on film) was seen jumping on the other side of the boat, we manouvered the boat then got him in. Defenitly not text book shit, but we got him
