Flounder
Its a flounder, not sure if its different from the typical Perth flounders though. They have amazing camo techniques, one of the most unique out there. Check them out on Oceans Deep - Planet Earth no 11. (Pretty sure thats the one)

certainly wasn't expecting
certainly wasn't expecting that when we were fishing, it fought pretty well but we chucked it back, couldn't really be bothered cleaning/cooking it.

It started as a nice day but blew up a bit in the arvo. It was probably 15kt W when we took that photo and we both copped a bit of spray on the way home.
