We saw a guy hooked up, on what looked to be relatively heavyish gear, a good couple hundred metres from the Freo fad as we approached it...we figured he had something a bit more substantial than a dolly. Your boat didn't have one outrigger sticking out of the port side, did it?
Matt (hlokk) and I had a solid day on the dollies, although we had to lower our standards and use bait! We were laughing at all the people who were trolling fruitlessly for hours, back and forth....we wouldn't have been laughing at you, though! Tremendous effort, and well done on achieving something that would be impossible to do nine years out of ten! And if you have never eaten wahoo before, be prepared for a very pleasant meal!
