monster ruby (not my fish)

This is not my fish, but just saw this pic on the Bluewater newsletter and had to post it up.
Biggest Ruby I've seen, taken off Exxy.
If whoever caught it is a FW member I'd be keen to hear the story!

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Yeah I hear there are a lot
Yeah I hear there are a lot of big rubys being caught up there last couple of months. The story goes that 20kg are not really shocking people up there any more!

This is what the Bluewater site said
"Plenty of ruby snapper have been about this year and angler Kim McIntyre from Albany caught this huge one while on his annual fishing holiday in Exmouth. Kim and his wife come every year with their children and grandchildren to spend a couple of weeks enjoying the warmth and fishing. There’s plenty of people like this that bring support to Exmouth each year and its’ great to see their smiling faces. The ruby snapper were caught in very deep water using electric reels and squid baits on circle hooks. The electric reel option may sound easy, but it’s actually quite difficult to get on the right spot, with the right drift and hold bottom at times. Some anglers take the easy option of letting the reel do most of the work in retrieving the fish, while others use black magic harnesses and get a work-out bringing these hard-fighting fish to the surface"
Whoever caught it, it's a goodie.

It was Gatsey, has been going around for a while now. Leave those Exxy fish alone Ozman, I plan to go back there at some stage!
