I thought I had lost this pic and here it is on fishwrecked all the time .
PS this was caught near the peir on 30 lb fireline on a Penn 850ss and a 9 foot popper rod lure was a special import with 5/0 stinger trebles and owner splits with 100lb Penn 10X leader , 50 turn bimini in the fireline to a GT knot to join leader with 4 turn uni to join leader to swivel .

Any guess on weight ,
Estimates at the time was 15 kg ???

Brendan,
I'd say it was under 10kg. I compare it the weight of pinkies when they're of similar size. But GTs are notoriously difficult to call from photos.
