yeah i have seen a few photos of some that mates get bottom bashing out wide, but i dont really do tha type of fishing too often mate. Im sure they are around probably just a bit further out. Have seen some good ones diving in a few spots last winter, and the last bluewater spot we went to (the one i told you about)
There is plenty of big ones up hear mate, we spear them on the mono pod, witch is at wandoo rig they are litraly 10m under the surface in 50 meters of water... biggest i have seen is around 15 kg... we caught that jigging out wide. along with huge reds and robbinson sea bream

Do you or anyone else get many good sized rankins up that way Brad? There's some big ones swimming around here in pretty shallow water.
