95litres rosco plenty big enough....i have never been able to empty it. Typical day doing about 40km on the water uses about 15 -20 litres......i just fill it up after every trip out.
nice looking rig you have purchased there. If it is not too much trouble would you mind mentioning a rough price that you paid for it? (pm if you would prefer that). I don't mean to sound rude in asking, i am just looking for something along the same sort of lines and it is always good to get a rough idea what something like that is going for.
Options for myself buying a boat are either a Quintrex or polycraft just depending on what comes up and what price.
And from the looks of the background in the pic that boat is from the boat yard Offshore maring in Guildford?
As mentioned earlier i don't meant to sound rude for asking price and if you would rather not mention I completely understand.
Hey scanno yeah no worries picked it up for a bit under 20k second hand. Its in pretty good nick has a few battle scratches but nothing too bad. I looked alot on boats online for private ones and there are a few good ones out there for about 15 or a bit over and there is a nice on on trading post but it had a 2 stroke oil injected and i wanted 4 stroke. i will pm you the link for the boat pretty sure its in ballajura and has gps and sounder and all the gear for 15500.
Cheers pjay that 60 l tank should do me ages then.
Looks similar to our newish one but ours is a Stacer (built in the same factory as quintrex) and a bit bigger (5.3 mtr with 90HP 2 stroker). If it rides as good as ours you will be happy. As PJAY said fuel consumption is great. We did 50km trip and only had to top up with 25 litres.Damn site better than our old heavy glass boat of the same size with a 115HP. Would have used 40+ litres for the same trip.
Good luck trying it out on the weekend. Hope to pick ours up "again" on Friday after getting the clears fitted so we can get out on the weekend also as the weather is looking fine apart from winds. Could be a family river trip otherwise.
Cheers david that would be great if you could post some pics up of the clears. Mine is coming with clears aswell it doesnt show them in the pic but it has front clears from windscreen to bimini and side clears so it should be nice and dry. Yeah i hope the wind goes away for the weekend if not its a run up the river. As for the name i am not a fan of the name on it its "my Dugon" so i will probly pull it off and leave it blank as i dont really want to re name it wiht the old mothers tale of not renaming a boat.
Did you pick it up today Rossco? If you did I can just picture you outside sitting in it... walking around it... thinking "This would fit here... This would fit there... Oh I need a thingamebob for this... I NEED this just in case" etc etc etc .
Got mine back home tonight. Will take picks tomorrow and put them up. Then all is needed is the weather to improve and blood it with something bigger and better than a few herring and squid.
Hey david yeah mate picked it up on friday had to do a few things on friday so me and me mate put it on the river for its first voyage. Put it in at maylands and went up to the flyin squadron yacht club and it went bloody well. I had hoped for it to do 30 knotsbut topped out at 27 which is close enough. So i gave it a good run motor performed well now its just waiting for the nice weather to get it blooded with some decent fish.

nice one mate. you will be surprised how far a boat like that will get you, and it should be easy to handle on your own too.
Hopefully you get some nice weather on the weekend so you can get into it.
