New combo trial......

Certate 3500HD, 30lb braid. Diawa catalina Nabura 6'8 rod. Squidgie 200mm flick bait "blue pilly" and TT 1oz jig head. The new combo that went with me out this morning for some fun. Landed both the dhuie and baldie on the same colour and size soft plastic. 40lb leader was maybe alittle light as i had to change it after both fish but it got them boatside. Love it already and it seems to work ok............trial a success!

I'm actually right handed, I've allways had the handle on the left since I started fishing at the age of 4.
I'd really like a left handed overhead but I haven't seen one yet.

i just got a new diawa advantage 6' 10-20lb spin rod for my stradic 4000. I am pretty impressed with how much grunt it has for a very light medium taper rod.
It is my first jump to a daiwa rod and i am impressed

where did you go from Spess?
I was doing the same in close at Two rocks and found that 40lb was too light, got bricked fairly well by a couple of beasties in the shallows that I will call for big Dhuies as the small ones i got in fought the same.
