this guy was caught north of Cape Naturaliste.
The further south of here you go the more common they seem to be.
Often found on more rugged bottom.

Great Fish Matt!
Hmmmm, I call them poor man's coral trout. Very delicate and sweet flesh and possesses the same aggression as coral trout. Size for size, I'll trade a dhufish for that anytime!

...the FFB out of Mandurah or Rocko, they are a relatively common occurrence.
That one's a beauty, Matt! Can't recall ever getting one bigger than 50...
