We fished Dampier Reef last year in the July school hols, we holed up in Turtle Bay for the morning watching the weather. The forecast was for falling winds and seas , by 2pm the white caps were gone and we made our way to the reef. We fished it until 10 pm and came home to Denham on a sheet of glass.
I have never had a days fishing like it and will probably have to wait a long time for it to be repeated. Its a long way out so remember to Log in and out with Denham Sea Rescue

Very Solid
Looks like a pretty heavy fish. Bloody thick across the back anyway.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
