Cat fish are good for something after all. 80 mile beach. Got half a dozen reasonable bluenose too. This threadie went 19 lb. Landed on12lb fins braid.

are you saying you caught
are you saying you caught that on some Catfish as bait? ... i have heard alot of good things about the old Koi Carp or similar. Tried it a few times but never had good success, though the fishing on those days was pretty average.

Bait
Yeh that was on a fillet of catfish. Spent a solid hour salting down all sorts of baits, all to get taken by catfish. Heard rumours that they make good baits. Bait hadnt been soaking for 10min and the drag took off.
