Funny you say that Russ, was absolutely rooted after being thrown around the cockpit for a couple of hours in pretty average conditions. Tasted bloody good I can tell ya that much, how good are the wings!!! Come on the Montes later in the week, due for some good weather for a change.

Nice fish. Gotta agree on the wings. I had some of the FW bunno boys cook up some red wings at waroora and they were ridiculously good. So delicious and firm. The coating they had was kinda like KFC too, brilliant.
Gotta love trout wings too with a bit of melted butter. Really dont like the fillets oddly enough, but the wings are great.

Cheers fellas. Looking to get away Friday and have a week or so over there with a mate (daisy) and my young bloke. Got a few things planned that are pretty weather dependent so if it allows we are gonna go pretty wide and play (get smashed up) with some cool fish hopefully. Otherwise will stay close and do the usual.

Haha she can't claim this one Neels. If she was out this day I doubt she would have been a very happy chappy. Really looking forward to the break and its looking ok for this weekend fingers crossed, so it should be good for you at Onslow also. Will take lots of pics and the odd vid as well if the gopro gets here in time.
