Fri, 2010-05-28 11:06

Popped out of the moulds in 1979/80 as a 42' Westcoaster.

Was reborn as a pleasure boat around 1995 including the cab extension.

top tub mate,

got to love all that deck space.

I find I'm more attached to my old Berty now than the new Trophy when I got it, some how old boats have a soul and character all of their own

cheers

Soul & Character

Tony ......I know what you mean .

I'm definately attached to this old girl as was (is) the previous owner.

The prevous owner was the guy who carried out the conversion and when I picked it up from him in 2007 ........he followed me down the coast taking some last photo's .

He now own's a bigger twin engined Thomascraft ,but he still checks up on me from time to time .......to make sure I'm looking after her.

Name

Is that the original name? There was a 35/38 foot pro wetliner working out of Two Rocks by the same name owned by Ian McPharlane, they don't allow two pro boats to be registered with the same name at the same time.
