Judging by the rods you guys
Judging by the rods you guys run, do they have really good stock up in Karratha or do you order from overseas? If so, how do you find your sucess with getting rods you like without getting to test curve them out?

Nearly all of our rods are ordered from overseas. I find that if you do your research and speak to people who've used them generally you will know whether you're going to like it or not.

Yeh but with Jay he can afford to buy the wrong gear and sell and buy more...hehehe. Kinda like me, except I got nothing big enough here to test the GT gear. Still using your carpenter rod? Planning to get anything lighter?

haha that's true, umm yeah
haha that's true, umm yeah still using the carpenter & it's still going well :) Wouldn't mind the heavier model but that'll have to wait for now.
Possibly get a PE6-8 stickbait rod but not really in a hurry for that just yet.
