Pollack

Watch a show on the tele the other night featuring a bloke catching and cooking pollack in Scotland. He cooked them up in a fishshop for a comparison to haddock.Pollack won hands down.
Also caught mackeral that looked identical to our blue mackeral and with the same quivering/vibrating when you try to unhook them

boys boys boys

Enough of the bickering boys and let me answers your worries.  They taste real good, a white flaky fish that goes well with anything...and they fight like hell...similar to a ytk only not as big!!  The weather does sometimes do ok here in the uk but you are right it is not as good as the OZ.

Steve mate stay in touch and I will get you some fish fella..I fish off the south coast.
