Pommey Surf Poppers

Well, being bored but very inspired by Cloin Hay's article in episode 3 of Fishwrecked Reeltime I decided to give things a go. I hacked away for a while and came up with the bodies as best I could. My wife then chipped in and donated some nail varnish skills. I refused to allow her to bring out my own set of colours... Anyway, after much combined effort we came up with these buggers.. Again, I refused to bring out my personal collection of feather so we were stuck with the red, white and blue.. LOL
Thanks for the great article Colin! Let's see if the work pays off.

Hide them
You will have to keep them hidden Vince or all the blue wrens and robin red breasts will try to have it away with them.
They are certainly colourful LOL

That's excellent work Vince
The feather work looks great and the body shaping and paint jobs are excellent.
Hopefully they will help you catch some nice tailor.
Just a tip, if you have any tuna oil, or some spray on attractant, apply it to the feathers, it really works well.
