Popped my jigging cherry

After some persistant hours (3 trips) of jigging, finnaly got my first fish on jig.
Awesome fun, now im hooked.

Well done mate! Persistance pays off with jigging, keep at it and the more fish you catch the more confidence and persistance you'll have to keep at it.
Is that a sambo or amberjack? Almost looks like an amber but maybe not?

Fairly certain it was a sambo, when it was stressed it had the brown bands on the side, its not showing in this shot, either way it pulled like a horse

those Mejiyumes have a real
those Mejiyumes have a real plain body shape, but they absolutely kill the pig, especially that colour.
