The Priests

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen
I haven't been able to do much fishing, but did manage a session out on the lathe today and made these five 'Priests'. For those who don't know, they are called Priests, as they are used to administer the last rites for fish, by hitting the fish on the melon.
I was going to get one laser engraved with the boat name of a mate, but as the bats look a little phallic, I thought the engraving of the boat name 'Deeper Still' may be too much for the moderators, Ha Ha.
Anyway, the bats are made from Blackbutt (pick of the bunch, heavy and solid), Jarrah and Sheoak (the large Sheoak bat is very solid).

i got two of willy last year when he had them and pantha you are not going to dent these with any fish! there are of exceptional quality and have sorted more then there fair share of sharks out!! willy if your looking to get rid of a couple more i will take two!! my mates keep eying mine off!

these will take a beating, no problems. On another issue, my daughter wrote to the CO to try and get the angling times amended to no avail.
