Problems with Richter Skirts?

Problems with Richter Skirts?

I was talking to Jeff the other day about one of my soft oscars starting to melt whilst it was out on the boat.  (On a rod after being used)  Funnily enough he said the same thing happened to his soft grassy whilst being in his lure wallet.  Just wondering if anyone has had this happen?  The lure is pretty much ruined, you can use it in the water, but the action is not the same.

Don't mix brands in a lure bag

I don't know if this is the problem but don't mix brands in the same pocket in a lure roll.  They will react with one another.

isolated!

A small batch of soft resin was made up by the factory without the UV stabaliser mixed in so there was a few lures like this that had the problem.

Very isolated, i've had one return back in my shop only and Adam call Mark and he'll organise replacements!

Take it back for replacement.

Not everyone can afford Black Barts, Pakulas etc etc like some people.

They maybe cheap compare to other BIG brands but they're not CHEAP quality !!

Richter Lures is a highly reputable company and is well known world wide. The winning boat won Gamex 2010 with Richter lures and same model Soft Oscar as above!!

As Ryan has mentioned, its an isolated batch and all you need to do is to take it back to the shop you purchased it from and it'll be replaced at no cost.

Haha nice idea but no doubt

Haha nice idea but no doubt Mark Richter will fix him up.

I heard when Jenny identified the problem, Mark sent up a bunch of replacements. I'm sure she has one for Adam as well.

Like Ryan said, if you have a melty one, just take it back to the place of purchase and they will arrange replacement.

Just had a long chat to Mark and he said if you take your faulty lure back into any tackle shop that sells Richter that they will replace them, or you can contact Mark directly if you want.

He will be replacing mine and Jeff's and identified the issue, which Ryan has stated above and that it was a one off incident.

As for Macca, another brilliant comment, you fish with what you want mate, but one faulty Richter won't stop me using them in my spread!  I just wanted to know if Jeff and I were isolated incidents due to the friggin hot summer we've had or it was something else, question answered.

Plus Many more!!
