Caught this Queenfish on 6lb braid and 10lb Leader.
Have to love those plastics and the thrill of putting fish back.

Queenies on Plastics
Used a variety of plastics, all with great success.
Snapbacks, Squidgies, Powerbaits, and Gulps.
This Queenie was caught on a white Squidgie pro range retrieved fast to avoid the Charlie courts on the bottom who also love them.

Won't go back to Baits
Hi Russ & Sandy,
My first trip up north that I have used only plastics. From Geraldton to Exmouth, Onslow, Pt Samson, Pardoo, Broome, Cape Levique. Lost count on how many fish that were caught, landed and released. Over a 100 maybe close to 150. I kept two fish to eat. A man can only eat sausages, bacon and steak for x amount of days before his internal organs say "Enough is Enough".
I won't be going back to baits
