i can tell you at the time
i can tell you at the time it wasn't barbless, i had to push it the rest of the way through to make it so, needless to say all points on the popper were after that.

it came out very easy once the barb was crushed, quick bit of first aid and it was off to fish for the rest of the day but no real luck with 6 small squid and a couple of small 35cm sweetlip emperor

cutting trebles with sidecutter is not much fun for both parties involved. green queenies and esp cobia more so than macks make me stand back and wait for the antics to stop. dont fancy a hook in flesh.

could be a new trend. replace the hook with a s/steel bar and then charge people for process. looks painful . you got some guts pushing it right through but better than trying to pull it out
