Do they release easy after a little tussle? I heard something that they aren't so durable after a good battle? But hey, need to get up there and catch one myself!
My reels screaming zzzzzzz.... awwww damn it, its another boat!

on real light gear im betting they wouldnt go back to well. as the lengthy fight time would stuff them .that one was caught on 20 lb so the fight time is under a couple of minutes and released no problems . still great fun and if we went any lighter the sharks would have them even before you got them close to the boat always in it just the depth that varies
na spess i havnt .we did get a few of them though all in the same area and on different days and different lures .it didnt seem to matter what you had swimming behind the boat as the place is alive with different sorts of fish and half the time it was a race for the fish to get the lure first .i can say its the first time ive trolled at this spot and not hooked a cod of some sort always in it just the depth that varies
got heaps of ideas but these bloody interest rates keep going up.putting a bit of a hold on the new boat mate .have you guys had a crack at any billies over there yet.it looks like youve been getting few reds and the like.
havn't had a good crack at it yet been to busy filling the freezer up haha. Getting more into it now tried last weekend but not for long just picked up a couple of makies and yellow fin. We really need a set of out riggers it's hard trolling two pusher's and a teaser. We are getting a set of the reelax one's soon so that'll make it easier. Can't wait for a billie but i rekon they could get pretty addictive.
addictive and expensive.especialy when mackies an the like are trashing 40 dollars skirts.good luck mate .im expecting to see a pic of you and ya bro holding a bill with grins from ear to ear
