honestly, why would you do stuff like that? you threw it back, with a monster hook in its gob.
it's not that i am against catch and release, i do it myself. i like to fish for a good feed as well as for a good fight, but i dont like to target sharks. they taste like crap, fin soup is just a bowl of fat and water when you leave out the spices, and their role as apex predators in a healthy environment is just too vital to target them in sportsfishing.
sorry to let off some steam on your pic mate, but killing, finning or just catching sharks for fun sucks.
I could understand your concerns if he had of killed it solely for its fun but he clearly stated he planned to release it but in the end it released itself..
