Didn't get the chance this trip due to dirty water but here's a few nice SA greenlip abalone I grabbed a year ago.

you cant beat the green lip , well worth the dive for them and taste great too , egg and breadcrumbs deep fried

these ones Russ were sliced
these ones Russ were sliced thin then dusted in seasoned flour and shallow fried for around 30 seconds, delicious.

sounds a bit easier than egg
sounds a bit easier than egg and breadcrumbs . def thin slices and quick cook. seasoned flour sounds nice
