Kyle with a monster Breaksea, certainly made up for several dropped fish today. The smile says it all.

The conditions were pretty awesome yesterday Andy
How far did you go out? We picked up a couple of nice pinkys at the 100 m mark.

Fished the 40's
ventured out to 70m for a look see and a couple of drifts but the fish weren't biting so crept back into the 40's again.
We ended up with a bag limit each (virtually) of big sand whiting in the first few hours of fishing then after a demersal fish each for the esky decided to be a little more selective about what was kept thereafter. It needn't have mattered really as we didn't get anything to the boat that was significant. All the dhuies we caught were undersize along with all the snapper. We probably released 10 or so fish on the releaseweight (mainly Blackarse, Baldies, Pinkies, Dhuies).
I got bricked by a big fish and Darryn hooked something that shot off to the horizon but busted him off. Other than that it was a constant stream of fish landed but nothing to write home about.

Yep pushed out a bit further than normal
Conditions were too good not to have a look.
Definately the furthest west I have been.
Tracked north and found a few good steep walls on some of the contour lines but not showing many fish. Drove around for a few nm's and had a couple of drifts but decided to fish our way back in instead.
Stopped in at the Dropzone but even the Giant Lawnbeetles weren't at home.
Only fish there was that Pinky that Kyle dragged in. It promised to be a much bigger fish and had us excited for a while, but as it hit the surface it was covered from head to tail in thick weed that weighed a ton. Classic!
