Sherbs scores the fish of the day
Big Steve, Sherbs and I headed out of Hillaries yesterday into lumpy, but quite reasonable conditions.
We tried numerous spots, burt despite the screen being lit up with loads of fish quite a few times, the fishing was pretty quiet.
Sherbs did manage to land a nice pinky that weighed in just under 4kgs (on a fillet of the tailor I had caught the previous evening).
I managed a just legal Blackarse and we did land a lot of little pinkies (which seemed to be everywhere) and a few small dhuies - which all went back down without too many dramas. Apart from that there was a pair solid sergeant bakers, a tarwhine and a scorpion fish.
While the fishing was a bit quieter than we were hoping for, it was still a great day to be on the water with some good mates.
We saw a heap of whales, and nobody fell in the kill tank (Lol).

Any fish is a fish
And I would even be happy to catch a nuisance or undersuzed fish than nothing. Apart from blowies. LOL.
Sounds like a lot of fun.

We had the same day as u guys your catch card was identical to our day s catch card except we didn't get the undersized snapper just sweep stakes and managed a nice harlequen on drift bait on the way in. Saw heaps of whales one little one surfaced no more than a meter from the boat we both had to change our pants after seeing the photo last week. Still a great day out apart from gps problems but that's another story. Hey did u see any water spoutes or tornados as my deckie was calling them Awesome to watch wish I had my camera

BEST TO JUST GO FISHING. C no evil, hear no evil. Thers is one god for us old farts, it is called Rajah, the God of erections in the biblical scence. Not to be confused with Hestia, the god of Architects and those erections.
