No idea how I tail hooked
No idea how I tail hooked it, I was aiming for demersals, so I was working the jig really slowly.
Its a really weird sensation getting a fish like that one tail-first, you can feel each tail stroke, so its like little headshakes of a wrasse, but you c an just feel the weight when you try and get some line back.
He nearly came up to the boat before he really knew what was going on, then he went nuts!

Maybe you're on to something Jamie. Catching them like that prevents hooks going down the throat and killing the fish. Heaps easier to release. You are a genius......
