Summer is coming!!

Summer is coming!!

After a long day on the boat catching huge Dhuies, I like nothing better than a quick dip in the pool and a relaxing spa bath with a fresh coldie in my hand, knowing that behind the fence the deckie is washing down the boat and filletting the fish...Ahh what a life!!!

If only it was true....I end up doing the filleting and cleaning the boat sometimes. Hard to get good deckies these days.

That's my 12 year old Daughter in the pool enjoying the sunshine with the top of the boat in the background.

awesome setup there andy, man the weather was so nice on the weekend, pity I didnt get a chance to fish in it...

I got dragged up to the hills to a natural waterslide place in the middle of the bush which we had to 4x4 too.... was awesome fun... however, the water was a touch, and only enough to make your balls hibernate for the next 3 months... cold...

lure testing tank!

Thu, 2007-11-01 18:47

That's a nice set up you have Andy, the pools awesome and inspiring since then. I fully agree about kickin back in the pool and a coldie, after a day on the water that is. I just bought a new house and the pool actually finalized the house sale.....a lure testing tank also...hehehe

Thu, 2007-11-01 20:01

Before too long Ryan will change your job description to tackle shop guru and pool cleaner when he gets sick of picking leaves out of the pool. For Honsu's sake I hope its got auto everything......

Certainly looks deluxe. Congratulations on the new house Ryan.

used to it!

Thu, 2007-11-01 20:08

As for the pool cleaning, i'm used to it. I used to be a manager of my own Poolmart shop and i did tech work also. This pool is covered so the leaves aren't such an issue and the kreepy can sort out the base dirt. The pools salt , so the first thing i do when i move in (3 weeks) is to convert to fresh, change the salt chlorinator to a chemi gem system and away i go!

Chemi Gem

Thu, 2007-11-01 20:15

Ahh now your talking.

The most I have to do is change the drums over every couple of weeks in summer , the chemigem and Hayward does the rest. Mans best friend that system.

I can remember having to manually test every bloody week, then grab cocktails of chemicals to get it right at our old place, now its almost set and forget.

Hmmm... I need to get me one of those beer tables you have got there.
