My mate was the photographer
My mate was the photographer in that pic and he has a good eye.
Didn't weigh it but it would've gone around 7-8kg estimated. Great fighters at that size, easily pull snapper backwards.

My wife and I have caught quiet a few down and out from Albany and at 7-8 Kg, that would have gone hard for sure - I know. As the others have said, great composed and coloured shot! Agree with Ads - a POTM contender for sure, on both the fish and the photo!
