He had nice white flesh but not much flavour, cooked up nicely, but the jack was better.  Probably wouldn't shoot one again, just a once off blat.

Gribbo claimed the trout

Tue, 2008-05-20 08:25

Gribbo claimed the trout, I got his offsiders. Was magic in the water out there, easy 15m visibility. They were rather tasty!

lol

Nah, knew I had a big day of fishing on today, so yesterday was for diving.  It was like an aquarium, monster bombies almost touching the surface in 13m of water.

I'm keen mate, I'm here until Chrissy locked in, then will think about whats next. Only raised one today, 40kg junior with two chews, just no solid hookup. Very quiet on the surface with the full moon. :( Few nice table fish to go with as well. Definately keen for the swap, gribbo's on as a replacement for Steve which will be the goods.. Probably look to come over early season if possible. Any barra will do mate!

a few billies starting to

Tue, 2008-05-20 20:50

a few billies starting to show up here of late. I might have to learn how to catch those things one day. I would have been keen to get down your way again although i think after being in the NT for three weeks the mrs would kill me.

No worries this season mate, when ever suits have a matress i can roll out or probably even a caravan by then. Let me know if you want a job in the future, might be able to help out. You might however actually have to do something other than snorkle around on the reef with nemo
