Fantastic conditions. I reckon a few heat blisters from the bare aluminium seat might have been on the cards that day. Looks pretty hot.

Cheers

Yikes - ya had me worried....wondered how I hadn't run into that rock before! Might hafta actually start loking out the front window occsionally!

Thanks be to goodness it ain't here! (Althought the fish that go with it would be a welcome addition!).

So - which island is it - White Island? Guano Island?

Damn I'd like to go back n fish shark bay again sometime soon!

Cheers!

I should be more careful with uploading these photo's. Tony got that about up around Tamala station, near shark bay. Awesome backdrop. I have fished there and the location is awesome, unfortunately went at the wrong time of year. Just to hard to drive past on the way back to work after seeing what Tony has produced. I wish the bugger would burn but it never happens!! Me on the other hand. Sorry boys the fish I mentioned off Mandurah is the one I'm holding in the thumbnail. Im sure Andy you can relate to those awesome dhufish.

Mandurah Dhufish

Absolutely Spooled,

That's a beauty your holding there.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to crack Mandurah for Dhuies yet. We have a holiday home down in Golden Bay, but rarely go down there these days, when we do I take the boat but have only ventured out to the 5FB with the kids on board. I have wondered how far you need to go out to get to some good ground. Any hints would be most appreciated. Distance or depth is all I'm after, I'll sort out the rest with time on the water.

Cheers

Distance and depth

Andy it often varies throughout the year with fishing for Dhufish off Mandurah and I would gather anywhere else for that matter when the crayfish are on the walk they generally follow them in closer. I got that one over some broken ground in about 35 metres on a fillet (sargent baker). If you can get hold of any of those they love them as you probably already know. I got two more smaller ones at about 10 mile directly off the Mandurah heads.
