Veggie Patch

Corn and Tomatoes cranking thanx to fishin...

Only problem is keeping the bloody hound from digging up the rotting frames and offal.

Nuffin as tasty as some home grown produce.

Looks great mate.
I am in the process of making a monster veggie garden in the spare paddock.
At the moment collecting a giant mount of shit to go in it.  mule, alpacca, chook and guinnea pig. Mixed in with a few bales of hay and sweat it under black plastic fro a few weeks to kill the weed seeds.

My vegies and herbs are booming this year thanks to the good rains we had earlier.

Hah - No "Afghan Tomatoes" in there boys ;-)

The beers and tommy tying is a regular occurance.

Kaneo - how good are the BBQ corn? FN awesome and easy to grow.

Neander - sounds like you will give the market gardners a run for their money with that setup.

Anyone want some spinach - it's growing like a weed and no-one likes it (cept pop-eye)?

Great year for

vegies - we grow in 90l pots, soakwells and a couple of raised beds to minimise water use as we only have tank water - currently tomatoes by the bucket, corn, peas, beans, Lebo cucumbers, summer spuds, pumpkins and kale.
