there are two " safe" camp sites at West Aligator. One is mostly fenced in to keep the flat-dogs at bay, the other is more open... one has water / toilets and bush showers, the fenced one has less facilities. Families do camp out there, but I'd be sleeping in the back of my 4x4 rather than a tent...thank you. The week before we where up, the ranges chased off a 4m salty that was having a snooze to close to the camp site!!
