What is in this Fishs Flesh?

Hi Peeps,
Caught three tuna on the way back from the barges. The two bluefins meat was fine but the stripeys flesh had all these white lumps in it. It was riddled with them, varying sizes. I decided not to risk eating it. Anyone know what they are?

were the lumps hard or soft.

Seen these in a few fish we've caught up north and wondered the same. They look pretty feral hey...

I'm no expert
but I think they are more than likely worms. They are not harmful to humans when the flesh is cooked. If eaten raw I have no idea, they might tickle a bit. :)

What is going on...
... I posted this in Fishing Discussion but it is under Home >> Content.
Also can only post one pic, what has happend to fishwreck site?
As for the white lumps, they were hardish, didn't look alive and had no head/butt but I don't know what worms in fish look like so no idea what they are. Will make good strip baits I guess.
