Sorry to trouble all you F/Ws but we went off Two Rocks today and christened the boat with its first proper fish!! Problem is don't know what it is? Let me know please.

def a gold spot. have caught several over the time. nothing fantastic on the tooth but it is edible. just add a few spices to it and it can taste reasonable. from memory they have slightly darker flesh

Thanks folks for your help. We will venture out again soon although my hip didn't enjoy all that boating last weekend. We did throw all the fish back mainly because we weren't sure what species they were. Might have to do some reading up on fish types lol.
As they say, after Monday, when you're hooked....!
