Winter treats

Got the dinghy out with my son yesterday with a break in the weather for an action packed session.
Heading out of Hillarys with the wind predicted to pick up we stayed close to home and had a ball on the light gear. With the wind holding out and the fish on fire we caught and released plenty and ended up with a great mixed bag for dinner.
The highlight being the Sambo that grabbed my sons Skippy and doing a lap around the boat before a screaming run and spitting it out. Good fun on his new 2kg rod.
