Yalata Mulloway

Here is a picture of my biggest mulloway caught off the beach at Yalata S.A. It weighed a touch over 60lb and was caught at 10:30 in the morning after a huge storm ripped our camp to pieces.

Beautiful fish
That's a beautiful fish. I imagine you would have had to work hard for him judging from the ocean conditions behind you. Do you livebait for those large mulloway or just use tailor fillets etc.

Corker
Thats a corker Mulla. Had always wanted to fish there. Nearly went on a couple of guided quad bike trips when I lived in Adelaide but never managed to get the timing right with work.

Cracking Croaker!!
Lovely fish well done.
Yalata is the Mulloway Mecca for a lot of anglers. I would love to tangle with one of those one day.
Cheers

Yalata Giants
On that trip 3 of us landed 27 Mulloway in 8 days, but we only kept 3 fish for the table. All the Mully's were caught during daylight hours on fresh salmon fillets. It is amazing how quick the weather can change out there. We were hit with wild storms at night time and blistering heat during the some days reaching upto 45 degress. This place is amazing.
