Thanks
The owner is thinking of opening it up to be a catch and release fishery with limited numbers fishing it so it stays a premium spot.
I'll post up more about it when it's up and running.
There is 3 dams linked up but not many are able to fish it just yet, the farmer keeps his 5 bulls in the same padock as the fish dams and who would want to tangle with a couple of tonnes of Brahman bulls.
I'm back there in 3 weeks time, it's only 100 km out of Perth.

it'd be great to have it
it'd be great to have it open to fishing but also would be nice to keep a secret for those in the know.
There is a river in SA that has cod and yellas in it and one of the property owners lets paying fishers in to catch and release only. It seems to work quite well and he only allows a few in each day so the fish don't get hammered. Not sure if it's still running as it would have been 10 years ago when I fished it last.
