Hiyas,
just got my new toy out of the container today, then picked up some new electronics for it. I'll keep you all posted as it gets closer to launch. Its a modified Clark Abalone CC. The previous owner made a lot of changes to it - podded transom and a few other bits and pieces.
Laters,
till
1) Still in the container
2) New loots for the boat!
I just changed the images to links through to the larger images.
3) Added snap on replacement trailer

Ready in time....
for Jurien? I'll be heading up there on or about next weekend, and that rig of yours would be a perfect snapper chaser for the bay up there!

Falkners: The boat came from the east, we just had a container coming over from the east and that made it a affordable.
Alfred: I lost the centre walkway already, its on another trailer already =)
Auslobster: I was seriously thinking ready by school holidays, now I'm not so sure. It was supposed to be released on Monday, but AQIS wanted to piss around with it, so it was only released yesterday and that has put me a whole week back.
Ryan: too true, don't need much to get into it, just gotta get out there!

To corrupt an expression, maybe should call it the camel of the sea, something reflective of the committe aspect?
Ok, some good and some bad news;
Good: Filled her up with water to clean some sludge out of the bilge - no leaks!
Bad: bilge pump wouldn't empty it, the pump is ok, just a wiring short somewhere.
The livewell system is a bit of a joke, its only good for whitebait and it drains into the bilge presently which is sub-ideal to say the least.
I'd like to work out how to make the console hinge for transport, but that may be a pipe dream.

Damn rain isn't helping ...
I need to work out how to pull the damn centre console to remove the fuel tank for flushing, and then its onto the wiring!
