Members Please Read : Current Known Issues
Hey guys,
You've probably worked out that the site is still in beta (not finished) so if you find any problems, error messages etc please post a comment in reply to this thread as it will help me fix everything quickly... Below is a list of the stuff we are aware of and are working on at the moment.
1. You cannot upload an image with punctuation ( ie. ' or ") in the name of the file.
2. You cannot upload an image over 2 megabytes.
3. You cannot upload a .bmp file which hotmail often turns .jpg's too and corrupts them. If you are getting your images from hotmail you need to click download, save as a .bmp file, and then convert them to .jpg in an image program. If you don't have any of this you can email me the photos at adam@fishwrecked.com and i will post them up under your name.
Cheers

We're on it.
Should be fixed. Please try again now.
UPDATE: looks like it might be your work firewalling us, or you need to refresh your browser by pressing F5 a few times.

Video uploads
You can either load a vid up to a hosting site like youtube or photobucket and then link it into a thread like I did with the snippet of Kasey's 24kg dhuie, or you can send either me, or Adam the raw footage on a cd rom and we can cut it into a proper "Fishwrecked Video" which only he and I can load onto the site at this stage.
PM me if you want us to compile the video, which is what Tapout and a few others have done in the past.
Cheers

Hey mate, it may be that you dont have the correct codec loaded.
Download the VLC player.
http://www.download.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html
It is a great compact player that will play just about any codec that is out there.

Hi Ya,
Anybody else missing the 'Latest Image' or is it just me?
No picture but have a pink 'box' immediately under the thread heading and above the post date and time with the message "Unable to create scaled Thumbnail image' displayed.
Random image is working fine.
Cheers.

Same Matt - no probs
Will it depend on whether you are using a wide screen monitor and/or down to your res settings perhaps?

Wide screen
Since going to a 19 inch wide screen it's all fitting real good , I can't wait till I get my 22 inch to see what the difference will be (I need the 22 inch to run Premiere Pro on) .

Nice
It fits real nice on the 22 inch widescreen Mav.
Do loose the edge on the 19 inch CRT tho.

Agree
Have to agree with that for sure after going from a 17 inch CRT to a 19 inch widescreen LCD, the wide screen certainly makes a big difference .

Screen Corza? >>
Is this what you are after Corza?
Mav - yes, I've had the same problem with downloading content from the Fishwrecked server(s) - especially when I jump from the 'home' page to 'Latest Content'. Mind you, I find the problem is intermittent - some times very slow and other times it loads quickly. I haven't been able to establish a pattern. Maybe due to the amount of traffic going upto and back. Oh, and yes, I've just recently gone a 22" WS - my old one went kaput. Made a big difference!

Hrm
Points duly noted guys, will see what I can do.
I run my screen resolution at 1280 x 1024 resolution and it fits the screen fine. The site is setup not to run at any less than 800x600, which not too many people have these days.
I will try and remove some stuff from the frontpage and see if that speeds things up. Otherwise I will look into the faster servers again. Only problem is that moving to a faster server will result in a minimum of 48 hours downtime to a maximum of 72 hour, which is a relatively long time on the internet these days.

Server down & Fishing ban :)

Adam - can I suggest, if you do that, DON'T do it during the fishing ban (closed season) - you'd have a mutiny on your hands
(I run 1280 x 768 BTW.)

Res - Mav...
Mav - since there's ????s in your post, can I assume you are not sure? If your new OS is the same as XP (I'm on XP):
1) Go to your desktop
2) Right mouse click (assuming std mouse button config)
3) Left mouse click on properties.
4) Within the displayed dialogue, click on the settings tab - it'll show you your screen resolution.
5) If my assumption is incorrect, please ignore the above. :)

I'm having this weird issues
I'm having this weird issues whereby I cannot logon to fishwrecked on more than one device.
I toggle between my laptop, tablet and note 2 and everytime I login to to my account on a different device my fishwreck password becomes invalid and I'd have to go through the password reset procedure. This happens on every occasion.
Only solution available to me at the moment is to use fishwreck on my laptop only.
Not a big deal just thought I'd give some feedback.
Awesome forums brw, I've learned a great deal in my short time here.
