Full Moon
Hey Tangles,
How did the full moon effect the pelagic activity over the classic weekend? I heard that the tuna were plentiful but the macks were a bit slow.

none!
hey john i think only 3 or 4 maks weighed in all comp! the water was filthy from the big swell that hit and stirred the crap out of everything. heaps of tuna a bonito around but yeah pretty disappointing for the maks. Just came back from arvo troll and nothing around. but still heaps of tuna busting bait fish around!

Full moon
Yep, the full moon shut it down up here as well with filthy water, might also have been the cyclone. But the coral also spawned last week, so not sure if that had anything to do with the fish being quiet. I'm expecting today or tomorrow to be a big one with some decent catches caught. The water has been clearing up over the past few days, visibility wise and better tide times.
