Thats a NUMBER ONE STUNNER mate!!! Nice turquoise blue bands and lovely tinge green on the body, how was it on the tooth? Does it taste the same as Boldchin Groper cause they look similar! Well captured mate, all the best for the future fishing trips!!
gday jangles. i couldn't tell you which is better as i haven't tasted baldchin. but couple of my mates say that the baldchin have a more fishy taste then the blackspot tusk fish(bluebone).
Been looking for one of those up here in Exmouth, the buggers aren't anywhere near as prolific as I'd hoped. Plenty of small ones, just not too many of the ones like that.
Well thats all good mate!! Just wondering what the Bluebone tasted like cause I've never tasted one or even came close to seeing one captured in real life, but thats a great capture. Was he taken diving or on the stick with line? I was thinking you might of taken him while diving cause the wetsuit you got on!
Great fun spearing them fullas! Myself and tapout had alittle fun on our last trip with the old under water canons. There wasnt any of that type but the bauldies were everywhere! I mean you go down to spear one and theres another 10 just waiting to get pinged as well.......bluddy amazing! Tapout got into quite a few as well but spent most of his time waving at the mackies why his cousin was nailing them with his 400lb toy with 4 rubbers! Awsome site to see a 20kg mackie take off with a float chasing him. Absolutly dumbfounded after seeing that i was. Couldnt wipe tapouts smile off his face for 3hours!lol.
