I caught this Barra a couple days ago on a Queensland Cape trip.  Just under a metre.  Caught casting at a rock-bar from the bank.  Took a Classic micro on 8 pound braid, Twinpower 2500 and T-curve spin stick. A truly awesome fight and a lot of luck involved in landing it.

Mate I'm still smiling.  Had been casting with my Inter 965 and 30lb braid for ages but generally the fish were pretty small so changed to the light stuff for a bit of fun.  Murphys law!

Thanks Andy, the camera is only a Canon Powershot 5mp.  It's nothing too high-spec, but I'm convinced Canon's are the best.  Also, I always get the picture-taker to take heaps of photos of good fish, that way I usually end up with at least a couple of crackers.
