That thing is a horse!!  What gear did you land that on?  The fish is bigger than the bloody tinny!

This was one of two this size caught about two weeks apart. This one succumbed to the fury of my Penn 330GTI loaded with 30kg braid and backed up with a 15kg Silstar Chrystal tip. (The Worlds Strongest Rods!) I used a standard Paternoster but used my favourite Mulloway bait fresh shark. Its my submission for your comp.

For sure, thats definately makes the comp.. might have to drop kevin's thou, will see how many entries I get..

Is there any structure that you catch them off, as in dangers of losing them to?  Or is it just a battle of the fittest..

No probs. Kev was stoked to be in the local paper.

I have a spot that has all the good things like structure, nearby feeding, steep drop off and a food gathering eddy current. If you can keep them away from the Buoy and anchor rope its pretty much a case of tire him out and hope the hooks/knots dont pull.

Hey I really like your site. IMO it pisses on FWA and Hotbite and with time and sponsors you are destined for bigger and better things. Well done. Its a very interactive site. Theres lots to do rather than just look. Its appealing to the eye and a clever design. I visit every day to see whats new. I am working on a new video and when its finished I will send a copy.

Have you had training etc for web building?

Cheers for the kind words..  Unfortunately I'm not the guru with the web design, thats my mate who did all the backend.. I look after all the content, images and video and change the design/format etc..

I am looking into putting up a ftp site so people can upload their video's to me and I will put them online.. I am currently putting tommytomato's Rockingham video up, so that will be online soon for a watch.. Very chilled out and relaxing video :)

Sounds like that spot you have is pretty magic.. Only wish for a few more like that down this way..

Btw: Check out the new image gallery underneath Gully's, I thought it only appropriate if you are going to start posting up a few Hedland pics.. :)
