Take the deal! Love my 305 sea jigger. Casting wise 20lb is going to be risky on anything over say 60g. The demon blood 962 is a good allrounder for a reasonable price tag, run 50lb through mine but It will take anything 30-50LB. I use it for minnows, poppers (non blooping) and metals up to 85g. Can't fault it.
You want the shimanos that use xship for heavier lures has more balls and last longer, have stepped away from heavy surf altogether now play with stuff under 100gms for bait and lures max 40-50gms just more versatile and light.
The 5000fj is a tough little unit, you miss out on the spare spool but gain so many other features. Spending that sort of money on a combo you won't be disappointed either way.
