2 on 2 off - what to do....
I am fortunate enough to be on a project doing 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off so I get a lot of time to spend doing my own thing at home and with a very understanding wife with a crap taste in TV programs, I am looking at places not too far from Rockingham to take the 4x4, rods, esky and the swag on week days while my mates with real jobs are busy... I get away to augusta, walpole, denmark, pemberton or even up to lancelin, jurien, port dennison etc as often as I can but I was thinking is there any closer spots to go to for a night on my own? been to white hills a few times but does any body know any other places to explore to try for tailor, mullas or even sharks?
I get home on Monday so if there is anybody in the same situation and would like to get away for a night or two... let me know.... Cheers...

Easiest way is to get on at
Easiest way is to get on at Myalup and head back towards Preston. This time of the year it's a pretty firm surface and you should be able to get a nice quiet spot. To help get the herring in place some pvc tube, drilled full of holes, at the edge of the wave line and fill with berley. As the waves come up the beach they take a bit of the mix and it works well to bring the fish in.

I want to get away for at least 4 days each secon swing for some decent fishing. Just in the process of sorting out a decent 4x4 then its gonna be game on.

I don't get back till late on the 26th.... so will be a no go this time but I will be keen to try for another time... I did a night down at White hills on my last break- didn't get much but it was great to get away even just for 1 night.... Now there are a few more promising Salmon reports I am even more anxious to get away.....
