G'day All,
Just putting it out there to see who is going to the Carnarfin fishing comp this year? 27May - 3rd June
Carnarvon being my hometown until late 1999 I can't wait to get back up there, this year towing the new Seafox. No more fishing off the One Mile Jetty for me!
Can anyone tell me with regards to registration, is it done online or up there a few days before hand? been a while since I have been in it. things may have changed...
Hope to see some FW members up there!

the rego is generally on the sunday the day before the comp starts. its at the gassy (gascoyne hotel, corner of the fascine on olivia terrace) in the evening. pay your money, get some goodies and start tellin stories...hopefully not as many pingers this year as last year they were rife....will be diving day time (not for fish to enter) and fishing at night i think so the out of towners cant steal our hard earned marks...

Possibly
Will wait and see how our radio rosters pan out before deciding. Usually too busy with sea rescue to spend time on the water catching fish.

Ryan! You pop up everywhere
Ryan! You pop up everywhere mate! Can't wait to haul the new toy up there and fish the waters I grew up on.
I don't consider myself an out of towner, plus my old boy ran charters up there for 10 years so I think he should have a few spots we can try
Cheers for the info gents, appreciate it. I shall see you at the Gassy Black Gen, Jacks and coke for me please
Thanks for keeping an eye out for us all Carnarvonite.
