Just got back from 3 great days fishing for redfin down south. Must have caught close to 100 fish, biggest was 38cm.

What lure did the damage?
Mostly squidgy wrigglers but anything with a lot of tail action seems to get them going, vibes work well but the snags can make it expensive

Used to catch plenty in Victoria rural areas using a Baltic Bob to jig had no problems with snags that way. Thats a great catch though.

Jigging any lure can be deadly on them if you can get right on top of the school, we had a wild 20 minutes jigging soft plastics on one fallen tree. The lure wouldn't reach the bottom before getting hit on most drops.
